Diwali Celebration in India

Diwali is celebrated in all states of India. Every state has different ways and the different story behind celebrating Diwali. According to some state and religion, Diwali is the day when Ram returned to Ayodhya with his wife, brother, and Hanuman after killing Raavan. According to Jainism, God Mahavira Achieved Nirvana. For some communities, Diwali is celebrated with colors to enjoy the marriage of Lord Vishnu and Lord Lakshmi. people enjoy it as the day when Lord Krishna won over Narakasura in some region. For some Diwali is also celebrated for Victory of the Kali over demons.

Diwali is a festival where cleaning of home and office is done not even a single corner is left without cleaning. Home is decorated with lamps, Diya, and candles. Lantern is also used in Diwali decoration. People make Rangoli in front of home to welcome the goddess Lakshmi. Diwali is a festival where a variety of desserts are made at home.
 Diwali is the festival of light. On Diwali Diya's are lighten up. People burst colorful crackers and enjoy the day of Diwali.
